The Ice Man - This regal and extremely photogenic boy is my first White Shepherd and the sole reason behind Alpinarc Kennels inception. He is a medium sized dog, ideal dark eye, full dentition, flawless hips & elbows with a white coat. Ice is proven in the WSSDCA show ring, with numerous 1sts & other placings. Septemeber 2006, his first show as a father, he won 1st Stud Dog and Progeny, his puppies took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best Littermates, AND he was Runner-Up Best in Show. At the 2007 & 2008 National Shows he also won 1st Stud Dog & Progeny, with his son Alpinarc Apparitions (Spook) placing 2nd behind him both times. Ice & Spook also took out Challenge & Reserve Ch Dog at the 2008 Nationals. Like father, like son! Ice was also the sire of the Best in Show winner, Alpinarc Demands Attention (Sugar.) Not only does he pass on his show success & producing to his offspring, but he is passing on soundness of hips & elbows. If you own an xrayed dog sired by Ice, we would love to add the results to this page. Alpinarc are firm believers in publically sharing data pertaining to hips & elbows in order to assist other breeders in selecting a stud dog & making wise breeding choices. Keeping results secret does nothing for improving the breed, but unfortunately it happens all too often. Ice has a friendly and loving temperament, the kind of dog that you would trust with your first born. He's very intelligent and agile excelling in every avenue he tries his paw at.
