Sugar is my pick of the "D" litter, a girl who continues to confirm that she was definately the pick!! Her first ever show, at the tender age of 5.5 months, she won Runner-Up BEST IN SHOW. A brilliant achievement for both Sugar and Alpinarc Kennels. Her sire is "Ice" Kyanjuwa White Kayne, and dam is "Tia" Whitemist Tia. Both parents RUBIS winners. She is a perfect blend of both parents, and I am so pleased with the quality of this up and coming young girl. Her conformation, temperament and movement is divine, and is maturing into a fine young lady. After being placed out on a co-ownership at 8 weeks old, she is now living back at Alpinarc, returning at 15 months old. Since being away, unfortunately she wasn't socialised enough, so the two of us have been working together to gain her confidence back. It was very sad to see my puppy returned in such a horrible state, it took 3 washes to even begin to get the faeces & urine staining off her. I felt well & truly conned that this home slipped under my radar as I feel I stringently vet each & every home. But the main thing is; she is ok & back! And WOW, what a recovery, after being back with me, where she belongs for only 5 days, Sugar won BEST IN SHOW at the 2008 WSSDCA National Show, AND took out 'Supreme Exhibit in Show' winning the Perpetual Trophy, the first year for this award. The judge stated that Sugar 'blew away the competition' in regards to her free flowing movement, with a topline that does not move! If I thought things couldn't get any better, I opened her hip/elbow results, and was ecstatic with the results. A total score of 8 for hips & 0's on both elbows! I'm looking forward to what the future holds for this special girl & shall begin my search for a quality male to produce Sugar's first litter. Am I proud to have bred & own such a wonderful breed example? Proud is an under-statement!! I'm thankful that fate brought her back to me.
